It is with great pride that we announce the significant milestone achieved by Raj Aaryan of Class XII Science in the current National Defence Academy (NDA) recruitment examination. He successfully cleared the NDA written examination and proceeded till the fourth qualifying round of interview. Though he was conferenced out and didn't make the final cut, his efforts demonstrating exceptional academic excellence and dedication are commendable. The school wishes him continued success in his future endeavours.
- TELEGRAPH SCHOOL AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE ACROSS NORTH BENGAL
- A survey was conducted by THE TELEGRAPH Agency for The Telegraph School Awards for Excellence across North Bengal, in which around 110 schools participated.
- APS Binnaguri has received three prestigious awards in different categories:
1. Academic Excellence for the Year 2025
2. Most Caring School – “A School That Cares”
3. Excellence in Extra-Curricular Activities

- Mr. Tushar Barman (Class XII Science, passed out), has been conferred with the Telegraph Excellence Scholarship Award at Birla Divya Jyoti School, Siliguri.
- AWES NATIONAL LEVEL QUIZ FINALE
- The AWES National Level Quiz Finale 2025, held at APS Dhaula Kuan, on 3 September 2025 featured top-performing teams from six commands: APS BD Bari (Western Command), APS Kanpur (Northern Command), APS Binnaguri (Eastern Command), APS Hisar (South Western Command), APS Bhopal (Southern Command), and APS Pithoragarh (Central Command). Organized by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), the event was masterfully conducted by renowned quizmaster Mr. Adittya Nath Mubayi. APS Hisar clinched the top spot with an outstanding score of 500 points. Nonetheless, APS Binnaguri delivered a commendable performance, and secured the runner-up position with an impressive 400 points. APS Kanpur claimed third place with 375 points, while APS Bhopal and APS Pithoragarh jointly took fourth place with 250 points each. APS BD Bari rounded out the competition in fifth place with 125 points. Another feather in the cap for APS Binnaguri.
- MEGA TECH FEST 'TECH VEDASTRA'
- The Mega Tech Fest 'Tech Vedastra 1.0' was organized by DAV School, Fulbari on 9 August 2025. Over 500 students from across north Bengal, competing in gaming, coding, quiz, photography, videography, and tech talks, assembled for the event. A 26-member team from APS Binnaguri participated in the mega event and achieved a remarkable feat. Pranay Sah of XII Science emerged as the winner in the ‘Code Chef’ coding event, impressing judges with his exceptional problem-solving abilities and competitive programming skills. Overall, the fest provided young participants with a platform to explore and showcase their talent.
- EASTERN COMMAND CLUSTER LEVEL DEBATE COMPETITION

- Eastern Command Inter APS Cluster level Debate Competition was hosted by APS Binnaguri on 22 September 2025, at Samra Auditorium, featuring teams from the Cluster: APS Kolkata, APS Sukna, APS Barrackpore APS Bengdubi, APS Binnaguri and APS Ranchi. The event was graced by Mrs. Purvi Bhushan as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour Lt. Col. Nirmal Kumar Panda. The School Debate Team members comprised ofRiddhima Majawadia of XI Humanities, Shivoham Mishra of XI Science and Samriddhi Chanda of XI Humanities. After an intense face-off, APS Binnaguri emerged as the Champions, followed by APS Kolkata and APS Sukna in second and third places, respectively. Riddhima Majawadia of class XI Humanities was adjudged the Best Speaker, and Samriddhi Chanda the Best Interjector. After the prize distribution, the event concluded with motivational words from the Chief Guest Mrs Purvi Bhushan and words of gratitude and encouragement from Mrs. Kiran Singh, Principal APS Binnaguri. It was indeed a proud moment for APS Binnaguri.
- EASTERN COMMAND INTER ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL CLUSTER LEVEL QUIZ COMPETITION 2025
- The School Quiz team earned laurels by securing the first position in the Eastern Command Cluster Level Quiz Competition, held among six prestigious schools of Cluster No. 3 at APS Bengdubi on 4 August 2025. The team comprised of Riddhima Majawadia (XI Humanities), Ujjal Kumar Jha (XII Science) and Akash Singh (IX C). The competition was closely contested by APS Kolkata, APS Bengdubi, APS Barrackpore, APS Sukna, APS Ranchi, and APS Binnaguri. APS Binnaguri achieved a remarkable feat by securing the first position with a score of 150 points. APS Darjeeling was at second position with 130 points, while APS Sukna secured the third position with a score of 120. The School congratulates the team and mentors on their outstanding achievement.
- AWES QUIZ NATIONAL FINALE 2024-25
- Army Public School Binnaguri emerged as Champions at the AWES Quiz National Finale held at APS Jabalpur on 5 October 2024,by securing an outstanding score of 700 points ,competing against top performing schools from across the country. The team members, Ansh Mishra (IX B), Riddhima Majawadia (X B) and Anant Agarwal (XII-Humanities), displayed remarkable depth of knowledge, covering a vast spectrum of subjects from history to science, sports, and current events as they tackled questions with impressive speed and accuracy, Their exceptional performance allowed them to maintain commanding lead throughout the competition finishing at top position in the finale. Mentor teachers Dr.Alaska Bhadra (PGT Geography) accompanied by Mr.Shubendu Mazumbder (PRT). Indeed a moment of immense pride for the school.

- Students of Army Public School Binnaguri have once again showcased their excellence In the CBSE Board Exams for the academic year 2023-24, students from Binnaguri achieved remarkable results, maintaining their school's tradition of excelling in both class 10th and 12th board exams. Once again, the school achieved a 100% pass rate.
- Anwesha Das secured the first position in the class 10 board examination with an outstanding 97.8 percent.
- In the 12th Arts stream, Prapti Chaudhary achieved 95.4 percent.
- In the Commerce stream, both Akrar Ansari and Ritu Kumari Gupta scored 94 percent.
- In the Science stream, Upakul Nath secured 94.6 percent marks.

The outstanding CBSE AISSCE Class XII and AISSE Class X results of Army Public School, Binnaguri, for the Session 2022-23 are yet another affirmation of the academic excellence of the students of the School.
In the CBSE Class 10 (AISSE) examination Komal scored 97.8% percentile .
In the 12th Board (AISSCE) examination, in the Science stream, Yagnik Bose has brought laurels to the school by securing 94.8% in science stream.
In the Commerce Stream, Aakruti Mishra has scored 95.8% .
Shiksha Chhetri of Humanities batch too has scored 92.6% .
A special highlight of the result ,Varun Kumar Chhetri a student of class XII science, has secured the highest marks of 94.4% in all science subjects in the Faculty of Science as per the special norms of AWES.

- Academic Excellence Award :
It is indeed an overwhelming moment of pride and glory for Army Public School Binnaguri with the outstanding performance of the students , in AISSE, 2021-2022. The school was felicitated with the Academic Excellence Award by Army Welfare Education Society and awarded with a cash prize of Rs.75000, at APS Shankar Vihar, New Delhi in November 2022 in the Eastern Command Felicitation Ceremony. APS Binnaguri yet again bagged the 1st position in the small category among all APS’ at the national level.
The laurels brought forth by these young talents have been deeply appreciated by the school management, faculty and staff members which certainly sets a motivating spirit, for the batches yet to appear in future. - It is indeed a moment of pride and glory for APS Binnaguri owing to the stupendous achievement of ASMITA BAG ,daughter of Arup Kumar Bag, Ex- Sub Maj (HONY) in the Indian Army and a resident of Checkpost, Ethelbari and a student of APS Binnaguri (batch - AISSCE (Class XII,2020-21),
in the recently held NEET(National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test - UG) exam.
- As per her score card, Asmita obtained 711 out of 720 with an all India rank of 21 and in the General category her all India rank is 16.
